Sales Strategy
Turning trials into members runs on relationships, experience, and consistent nurture — not a hard close at the end of the week.
Introduce TYG with energy, secure their full week of bookings upfront, confirm the app is set up and working, and log everything in Mindbody and the CRM before you hang up.
First Call Objectives
"Have you been part of an Open Week at TYG before?"
"Are you currently training anywhere? Tell me a bit about your training background."
"Let's make sure you don't miss out — I'll lock in your spots for the week now. You can always reschedule later through the app."
Daily Execution Rhythm
-
Premium, high-touch experience. Connect new clients with members, follow up with all Open Week bookings, and help schedule their week ahead while they're in the gym.
-
Maintain the momentum by building excitement on social media and in your TYG location. Follow up with all leads and ensure they're booked into their next sessions.
-
Begin membership conversations. Face-to-face conversations lead to the strongest membership outcomes.
-
Personal CRM follow-up. Answer any questions and guide them through completing their membership.
-
Finalise memberships. Ensure all digital contracts are completed.
Role Responsibilities
-
Opens and closes sessions, delivers the TYG experience, connects performance to results, and starts Challenge conversations. Supports FOH with membership conversions.
-
Manage 1:1 interactions during class, identify high-intent leads, and communicate opportunities with the team. Support FOH with membership conversations and conversions.
-
Greets every client, confirms bookings, updates the CRM, manages trial handovers, and drives face-to-face membership conversations, conversions, and follow-ups.
Post-Trial:
The 4-Visit Process
-
Take 2–3 minutes to discuss how the session felt, revisit their goals, and recommend the right membership or upcoming Challenge.
-
Check in on their experience, book them into their next sessions, and, if the timing is right, introduce the membership options and help them get started.
-
Record their goals, energy, objections, and any key notes for future conversations.
-
Share key information with the team in your group chat to ensure a consistent, personalised experience and keep the momentum going.
